Contributions are not tax deductible for income tax purposes.

The maximum contribution an individual or company may give is $1,000. Personal, Business, and PAC checks are acceptable; however, contributions from individuals and businesses they own or control will be aggregated together and subject to one limit. A couple may give $2,000 from a joint account if both parties sign the check. Occupation and employer must be provided for each individual contributor. Contributions from lobbyist and lobbying firms registered with the City of Los Angeles are prohibited. Federal law prohibits contributions from foreign nationals. An immigrant is eligible to make a contribution if he or she has a "green card" indicating that he or she has been lawfully admitted for permanent residence in the United States. Contributions must be from the donor’s own funds and may not be reimbursed by any other person. To comply with California state law, we must obtain, maintain, and submit the name, mailing address (not a P.O. box), occupation and name of employer of any individuals whose contribution in an election cycle.
